In the final stage of the UCI Enduro World Cup, held in the French town, the Belgian rider from the Orbea FOX Enduro Team put an end to a long season of ups and downs. Maes took first place in the EDR category just a week after achieving a top 20 in the DH world of Andorra.
After winning a tough race marked by weather and difficult terrain, Martin Maes gave the Orbea FOX Enduro Team their first victory in the category alongside his Orbea Rallón and the newly released Oquo MC32 Team wheels.
"Today I woke up with the feeling that I could win, and it was perfect: I didn't touch the ground once and rode the best I could in incredibly tough conditions. A great end to a tough race. A great end to the season, dedicated to the whole team for the work done over the last 3 years," Martin pointed out.
