The 35-year-old rider is one of the most charismatic riders of this event, having participated in each of its editions since 2001, when he was 14 years old. He also won in 2001 and 2017.
It has been reported on social media that Kyle Strait fractured three vertebrae (T4, T5 and T6) after a crash on one of the jumps he was training for Red Bull Rampage 2022. Strait will now undergo surgery after doctors stabilise his T6 vertebrae.
Strait was a crowd favourite for his big size and imposing style on the bike. Here is the latest video he uploaded earlier this week showing him riding and training just days before the Red Bull Rampage.
