Janika Loiv and Emil Hasund give no quarter and win the queen stage of the Costa Blanca Bike Race 2023

With 60 km and more than 2000 m of elevation gain, stage 3 of the Costa Blanca Bike Race was considered the queen stage of the race, but the Estonian Janika Loiv and the Norwegian Emil Hasund continue unstoppable and have returned to take the victory one again.

Norwegian Emil Hasund is a regular at the Costa Blanca Bike Race and it is not the first time we have seen him fight for victory, but this edition has been brilliant. What seemed like a surprise in the first stage, Hasund has confirmed that it was no coincidence by winning the next two stages.

The Norwegian won the queen stage by arriving more than 2 minutes ahead of second-placed Lukasik Krzysztof. The men's podium of the day was closed by Aleksei Medvedev.

In the women's category, Estonia's Janika Loiv won again, just 40 seconds ahead of Spain's Monica Calderon. And the podium was closed by the French Elodie Kuijper.

The last stage of the Costa Blanca Bike Race 2023 will decide the final winners of this edition on a fast 40 km course. But after watching the race progress, it looks like Loiv and Hasund will be the winners.
