Gobik renews its winter gear with UNITY – Cold27

Gobik has just presented UNITY – Cold27, its new cycling clothing collection for the cold season. A range that comes with new garments for road and mountain biking, where the Spanish brand once again combines protection against wind and water, thermal insulation, and layers that can be used according to the conditions.

The collection is already available, and its launch is accompanied by THE WAIT, a campaign that focuses precisely on that transitional period when the full cold of winter has not yet arrived, but long sleeves, vests, and jackets begin to take their place on rides.

Perhaps the most interesting part of UNITY – Cold27 is how Gobik has structured its proposal to cover different temperatures and conditions.

The brand bets on modularity, with garments ranging from a windproof vest weighing just 71 grams to jackets and thermal jerseys designed for temperatures that can approach 5 °C.

Among the main novelties are ENVY, WEEZER, VANTAGE, and PRIME, four garments with quite different approaches.

ENVY, a technical vest with Polartec Power Shield Pro

The Gobik ENVY is aimed at high-performance use on the road and is a garment used by all professional teams dressed by the brand.

Its main technical element is the Polartec Power Shield Pro membrane, chosen to combine protection against wind and water with high breathability.

Gobik completes the vest with an aerodynamic pattern, sealed seams, YKK Vislon AquaGuard zipper, pockets designed to evacuate water, and a neoprene back hem. Its weight is 166 g in size S and it is recommended for a range of between 7 and 15 °.

WEEZER, more insulation for cold days

The WEEZER is a long-sleeve jersey designed for cold days and medium-intensity rides. To increase its thermal capacity, Gobik uses a winter fabric that is 25% heavier than that typically used in the Pacer Solid range, along with a thicker inner fleece. The goal is to increase insulation while maintaining the ability to wick away sweat during pedaling. Its weight is 250 g in size S
and it is also recommended for use on rides between 7 and 15 °C.

VANTAGE, lightweight protection from 5 °C

A step up in protection is the new VANTAGE, a jacket designed for low temperatures and changing weather conditions.

Gobik combines Polartec Windbloc on the front panel with three-layer constructed sleeves and membrane, designed to block wind and repel water. The back uses a fleece interior to provide insulation without penalizing breathability too much.

The Perfect Fit cut aims to maintain a snug fit on the bike. They weigh 261 g in size S and are designed for use on days between 5 and 14 °C.

PRIME, a windbreaker weighing only 71 grams

The fourth novelty is also the lightest. The PRIME is a windproof vest weighing 71 grams primarily designed as an emergency layer for descents, early morning rides, or sudden temperature changes.

Its small volume allows it to be easily stored in a jersey pocket, and Gobik has incorporated openings in the back to access the pockets of garments underneath without needing to take off the vest.

It weighs 71 g in size S and its comfort temperature is between 10 and 18 °C ambient.

A complete collection for road and MTB

These novelties are part of a much broader collection that includes jerseys, vests, jackets, and base layers, with different levels of insulation and protection to configure the equipment based on temperature, wind, humidity, or ride intensity.

With UNITY – Cold27, Gobik also maintains a clean and relatively contained aesthetic, trying to ensure that the technical component and the possibility of combining different layers are the protagonists of its winter proposal.
