New Garmin Edge 540 and Edge 840 with solar charging launched
Garmin has just introduced the new Edge 540 and Edge 840 GPS, two of the brand's most popular and appreciated cycling computers that now arrive from €399 and in versions with solar charging, among other new features. This solar charging is one of the most differentiating features compared to the competitors and promises from 32 to 60 hours of autonomy.
The new GPS Garmin Edge 540 and Edge 840 multiply their autonomy thanks to solar charging
Two new models of cycling computers have just been added to the Garmin catalog, the Edge 540 and Edge 840, and stand out for combining a wide range of performance-based training metrics, including a unique comprehensive training in its class aimed at personal goals, enhanced navigation support thanks to Multiband GNSS or a multitude of online features. All this in a familiar compact and lightweight design that has made them a favorite device of many professional and amateur cyclists, even ahead of the top model, the Garmin Edge 1040.
Highlights
- Cycling ability: specific function to identify the cyclist's strengths and weaknesses and take them into account when designing a specific ride or focusing training on the right areas.
