Bikes with which Evenepoel, Alaphilippe and Bennett competed last season are now on sale online
Bikeroom, a bike sales website specializing in previous season models, often puts up for sale bikes used by various professional teams, surprises us again by offering Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 used in 2003 by cyclists like Julian Alaphilippe, Sam Bennett, and, the jewel in the crown, a unit from the World Champion edition used by Remco Evenepoel.
Specialized bikes of Evenepoel, Alaphilippe, or Bennett can be yours
Spectacular additions on the Bikeroom bike sales website, which is known for offering previous year models of some of the most prominent cyclists in the peloton. However, on few occasions can we have the opportunity to acquire an authentic collector's bike like the Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL7 with the personalized World Champion decoration that the Morgan Hill brand prepared for Remco Evenepoel and that he used from the beginning of the 2023 season until he relinquished the title to Mathieu van der Poel in the World Championships held in Glasgow.
Although Specialized released a limited edition of 200 units with this decoration, the one we can find on Bikeroom is a bike used by the Belgian cyclist, with the same equipment, specifications of the team bikes, and the measurements and size used by Remco, in this case, a size 52 and, in reality, few variations from the standard model, such as the Pro Vibe Aero SL handlebar and, of course, professional gearing, with Shimano Dura-Ace 54-40 chainrings and barely an 11-30 cassette. A bike that was put up for sale for the modest price of €19,826 and that is already listed on the Bikeroom website as sold.

The other two additions to the Bikeroom offer are still available. The first of them is also a Soudal-QuickStep bike with the decoration from the 2023 season, specifically a Specialized S-Works Tarmac used by Julian Alaphilippe that, in addition to the colors, differs from Remco's by the French cyclist choosing the Body Geometry S-Works Romin saddle instead of the S-Works Power Mirror used by Evenepoel. A bike that is priced at €11,891 and, like Remco Evenepoel's bike, is a size 52.
The third machine in question, the same model as the previous ones, comes from the Bora-Hansgrohe fleet, with the characteristic green color that identifies the German team and that, in this case, was the one pedaled by the Irishman Sam Bennett, in 2024 with Decathlon-AG2R La Mondiale.
Sam Bennett's S-Works Tarmac SL7 differs from the Soudal-QuickStep ones in that, in addition to the Pro handlebar, in this case the round section Pro Vibe model, it also uses this brand for the stem, the same model as the handlebar and sacrificing some of the integration in the steering lines that the Tarmac stem used by the Belgian team bikes achieves. The saddle mounted also differs, in this case, an S-Works Power although, unlike Remco, the conventional model instead of the 3D printed one used by the Belgian. Of the three, this is the most affordable, priced at €10,899 in size 54.
