The BMC MTB Team signs young Maxime l'Homme
The BMC MTB Team officially announced this week the addition of 21-year-old Swiss rider Maxime l'Homme to their ranks. This multidisciplinary cyclist will focus this year on the U23 XC World Cup and will kick off the season, along with the rest of the team, at the Banyoles Super Cup, this weekend.
Maxime l'Homme joins the BMC MTB Team
The signing of Maxime l'Homme is part of the Swiss young talent development program that the BMC MTB Team follows. And although the young L'Homme has experience in multiple cycling disciplines, including gravel, road, cyclocross, and XC, he confirmed during his presentation that in 2024 he will focus his preparation on XCO. "My focus is on XC now, especially for the World Cups and World Championships."

In 2023, he already showed that he is capable of being among the top 10 in his category in World Cup events, with his best result being sixth in Snowshoe, and now he is aiming for the World Championship.

"I am very happy that after a lot of hard work last season, this opportunity with the BMC team arose. I am incredibly motivated for this season and hope to prove that I am one of the top 10 finishers in the World Cup in the U23 category. I also hope to achieve a top 10 at the World Championship this year."
The first time Maxime l'Homme will compete in the BMC MTB Team kit will be alongside the rest of the team at the Shimano Super Cup Massi Banyoles 2024.
