Bec Henderson debuts bike in Nove Mesto
The MTB World Cup lands in Europe this weekend with the highly anticipated event in Nove Mesto na Morave (Czech Republic), and it comes with several important news for the Orbea Fox Factory Team. The most notable: the return to competition of Rebecca Henderson, who will make her debut this season in the World Series after overcoming the injury suffered in the Australian XCO championship, where she won her twelfth national title.
Rebecca Henderson debuts her Orbea OIZ as Australian national champion in Nove Mesto
For the occasion, the Australian cyclist will debut a spectacular personalized Orbea OIZ with the colors of her national team. The frame, with white as the main base, incorporates details in green and gold, the emblematic colors of Australia. It is an exclusive and completely customized design for the oceanic rider.
Henderson's OIZ maintains the philosophy of Orbea's most popular model in cross-country: one of the frames with the best lightweight-stiffness ratio at 1,740 gr, without unnecessary elements and oriented towards maximum performance. Its efficiency has been widely tested by the team riders in XCO, Short Track, and XCM.
The debut of this new OIZ will take place in the Short Track on Saturday, on a very special circuit for Henderson, as she has experienced some of her best performances in the World Cup in Nove Mesto. In addition, the event will mark the reunion of the four members of the Orbea Fox Factory Team in the same race, something that has not happened since the preseason in Spain.
