Artificial Intelligence arrives at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup broadcasts
Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe, organizer of the UCI MTB World Cup, has just announced today the launch of Cycling Central Intelligence (CCI), an innovative platform powered by generative AI, developed in collaboration with Amazon Web Services. This technology will debut this weekend in Brazil and they assure that it will transform the event broadcast.
The UCI MTB World Cup will integrate AI into its broadcasts
According to the organization, the CCI technology will enhance the live broadcasts of the event as commentators will have access to complete information about cyclists, venues, and race histories while the action is happening on the circuit.
"What makes CCI truly revolutionary is how it enhances and complements the human experience that makes sports broadcasting special," said Chris Ball, Vice President of Cycling Events at WBD Sports. "Our commentators and producers bring unparalleled levels of expertise and passion for the sport, and thanks to our partnership with AWS, CCI ensures they can masterfully craft the captivating stories and insights that our viewers love and that will keep them engaged."
