Aleix Espargaró adds the Colnago Y1Rs to his collection, the bike with which Pogačar won the 2025 Tour
Espargaró himself made it public through his social media, where he shared his latest acquisition accompanied by a very clear message: “Happy to add the competition bike of the best cyclist in history to my collection”. In the same post, the Catalan rider directly thanks Pogačar for his help in acquiring it, although he does not specify whether it is a personal gift or a formal purchase.

The bike in question is a very special Colnago Y1Rs, with a visible carbon frame, without paint, an exclusive configuration that the Italian brand developed specifically for Pogačar during the 2025 Tour. It is a lightweight version, designed to maximize performance in high mountains and key stages, and a version that never became part of the brand's commercial catalog.

Beyond his role as a rider, Aleix Espargaró has considered himself a cyclist for years and lives as such, even before he made his professional cycling debut last year with the Lidl-Trek team. Although this season he has decided to refocus exclusively on his racing career on the bike with Honda.
Additionally, his interest in historical cycling is also reflected in his private collection, which already includes iconic bicycles such as the Trek used by Lance Armstrong and the Bianchi of Marco Pantani in the 2000 Tour de France.

With this addition, Aleix Espargaró expands a very personal collection of bicycles that have marked an era and are directly linked to great names and key moments in professional cycling.
