A personalized Look 795 for Donald Trump and the other G7 leaders
Cycling has unexpectedly taken center stage at the G7 summit held these days in Évian-les-Bains, France. French President Emmanuel Macron surprised the main world leaders with a very special gift: a personalized road bike for each of the attendees, an initiative linked to the promotion of the UCI World Cycling Championships 2027 to be held in the French Alps.
Macron gifts customized Look bicycles to Trump and the other G7 leaders to promote the 2027 Cycling World Cup
Among the recipients of the gift was the President of the United States, Donald Trump, along with representatives from Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and the European Union.
A Look 795 with a distinct French touch
The bicycles delivered by Macron are exclusive Look 795 models personalized for each leader with their country's flag on the fork. The chosen setup also reinforces the French character of the project, as the bike is equipped with Look pedals and Mavic wheels, two of the most emblematic historic brands in the French cycling industry.

Promotion of the 2027 Cycling World Cup
The choice of Évian-les-Bains as the meeting venue is not coincidental for the cycling world. The town, located on the shores of Lake Geneva and in the Haute-Savoie department, will be part of the stage for the UCI World Cycling Championships 2027, one of the most important events on the international calendar.

On this occasion, the president of the UCI, David Lappartient, was also present during the summit, taking the opportunity to promote the world event.

Through his social media, Lappartient explained that “the seven heads of state will receive a personalized bicycle” and publicly thanked Emmanuel Macron for the support given to cycling and the promotion of the 2027 World Cup during the G7 celebration.

The initiative leaves one of the most curious images of the summit: world leaders like Donald Trump turned, at least for one day, into unwitting ambassadors of cycling and a French industry represented by three historic names: Look, Mavic, and the future World Championships in the French Alps.
