A carbon Enduro with a high pivot for €2,999: this is the new CUBE Fritzz
CUBE completely renews its Enduro offering with the new Fritzz C:62, a carbon bike that adopts for the first time a suspension system with high main pivot and idler pulley. But the change in kinematics does not come alone. The new Fritzz allows configuring the wheels in mullet format or 29”, modifying the head angle, using air or coil shocks, and even choosing between cable routing through the head tube or along the side of the frame.
The new platform has already been competing this season under the riders of the CUBE Action Team, including William Scheele, Zakarias Johansen, and Simona Kuchyňková, and now officially arrives in the catalog in two builds: Fritzz C:62 TM for 2,999 euros and Fritzz C:62 Super TM for 4,999 euros.

CUBE takes the Fritzz to the high pivot
The main novelty is in the rear suspension. CUBE abandons the conventional configuration of the previous ONE77 and significantly raises the main pivot, accompanied by a pulley located above the drivetrain.

The goal is to further separate the operation of the suspension from the forces generated while pedaling and, above all, to achieve a rear wheel trajectory initially more oriented backward. According to CUBE, this design aims to reduce effective chain growth and the interaction of pedaling with the suspension, allowing the rear wheel to move more freely in response to impacts.

The system continues to use a Horst Link type articulated architecture, but the new location of the pivot significantly modifies its behavior. With the bike extended, the chainstays measure 435 mm, although during part of the travel that distance increases to approximately 450 mm due to the axle trajectory.
CUBE announces the Fritzz with 170 mm of travel both front and rear, both models use 170 mm forks.
Mullet as standard, but can also be converted to a 29”
Another of the most interesting features of the Fritzz is that CUBE does not force you to choose definitively between wheels of different diameters.
The two versions come standard with a mullet configuration, 29 inches in front and 27.5 in the back, but the frame is compatible with a 29-inch rear wheel. To do this, CUBE includes alternative dropouts that provide the necessary space for the larger wheel and compensate for the change in axle height.

With them, the chainstays increase from approximately 435 to 447 mm, maintaining a geometry consistent with the new configuration.
The idea is that a single frame can be oriented towards a more manageable and playful bike using 27.5” in the back, or towards a completely 29” configuration that prioritizes the ability to overcome obstacles and stability at high speeds.

Geometry adjustable between 63.8 and 64.4 degrees
The head angle also allows adjustments. Eccentric cups allow modifying the head tube angle by 0.6 degrees, so the rider can choose between 63.8° and 64.4°.
The more open position seeks to increase stability on fast and steep terrain, while the 64.4° position offers a slightly more direct steering.
The geometry is completed with 435 mm chainstays in mullet configuration and an effective seat tube angle that ranges between 76.7° and 76.9°, depending on the chosen position.

The Fritzz will be available in four sizes, S, M, L, and XL, with reach values ranging approximately from 423 to 496 mm.
| Geometry | S | M | L | XL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seat tube | 370 mm | 405 mm | 420 mm | 420 mm |

Slack / Moderate: the first value corresponds to the 63.8° position and the second to 64.4°.
Ready for air or coil shock
CUBE has also designed the lower shock mount with two positions. Using a flip-chip, the progression of the suspension can be modified. The more linear configuration is mainly designed for air shocks, while the second increases progression and is especially intended for mounting a coil shock.
The two builds that CUBE initially markets use air shocks, but the frame is prepared to modify the configuration later.
C:62 frame with integrated storage
The new frame is constructed with CUBE's C:62 carbon using its Advanced Twin Mold technology. Pinkbike estimates the complete S size frame with RockShox Vivid Air Ultimate shock, protections, and idler pulley at about 4.2 kg.

As is increasingly common in trail and Enduro bikes, the down tube also incorporates a storage compartment. CUBE includes a specific bag in which you can carry a tube, tools, food, or a light garment.
Under the top tube, there are also anchor points for tools or ACID accessories.

The cabling also offers two possibilities. By default, it runs internally through the head tube, but the frame has side entries that allow avoiding routing the cables through the head tube and using a more conventional integration.
It also incorporates a threaded BSA bottom bracket of 73 mm, ISCG05 mount, UDH dropout, and a modular mount for devices compatible with Garmin/X-Lock.
