You have to see it to understand it: videos with the highlights of the XCO World Cup in South Korea
The XCO of the 2026 World Cup in Mona YongPyong left two races impossible to understand without watching them. The rain turned the circuit into a chaotic scene, with more sections on foot than on the bike, falls, mechanical failures, and overtakes completely out of the ordinary. Here you can watch the videos with the best moments of the elite races, where Sina Frei and Dario Lillo achieved their first victories in XCO.

Videos with the best of XCO in YongPyong, how Frei and Lillo won in the mud
The women's race was probably one of the strangest remembered in the World Cup. The mud broke any logic of racing and forced the riders to constantly alternate between pedaling and running with the bike on their shoulder.
In that context, Frei was the one who best understood what the circuit demanded. Without major attacks or clear dominance, she managed to stay in the race, avoid mistakes, and manage her fatigue better than her rivals. In front of her, Jenny Rissveds tried to make a difference, but fatigue played against her in the end.

What is the origin and history of the pink jersey of the Giro d'Italia?
The men's race had a very different development, but was equally affected by the mud. Here, there was indeed one name above the rest from the start.
Dario Lillo took advantage of the first selection on the initial climb to break away solo and, from there, executed a race without errors. While the others accumulated mechanical problems and falls, the Swiss rider always maintained control.
His performance was one of the most solid of the weekend. Where others survived, Lillo advanced. Where the circuit slowed the race, he kept adding seconds until securing an undisputed victory, with Luca Martin and Charlie Aldridge completing the podium.
Beyond the results, YongPyong leaves one of those races that can only be explained by watching the images. The circuit, completely overwhelmed by the mud, changed the nature of XCO and led the riders to compete under extreme conditions.
