Vittoria is ahead of the trend and presents its Corsa Wide Rim tire

The Italian manufacturer Vittoria has just introduced its new tubeless road tire Corsa Wide Rim 700x29c WIDE RIM for 25mm rims. A new line that responds to the current trend of wider wheels and tires that seek to improve aerodynamic performance, grip in corners, and overall comfort on the road.

New Vittoria Corsa Wide Rim Tire

After a long development in collaboration with World Tour teams and top wheel manufacturers, including Wout Van Aert and the Visma | Lease a Bike team, the Vittoria Corsa Wide Rim tires hit the market in a range consisting of the Corsa PRO, Corsa N.EXT WIDE RIM, and Corsa PRO Speed WIDE RIM models (the latter will be available in the coming months).

This new line of tires has been specifically developed for rims with an internal section of 25 mm, although they are also compatible with standard rims, slightly modifying their performance and effective width.

• Corsa PRO Wide Rim: This tire features a 320 TPI cotton casing, the current maximum standard in terms of elasticity, lightness, and comfort, fundamental aspects for professional cycling. This construction guarantees low rolling resistance and a noticeable smoothness in riding.
• Corsa PRO Speed Wide Rim: This model, which will be available soon, is designed specifically to maximize speed and performance in time trials and high-speed routes, maintaining Vittoria's characteristic quality.
• Corsa N.EXT Wide Rim: With a 100 TPI casing, it offers an excellent more affordable option, ideal for cyclists looking for superior performance in demanding training and frequent competitions.

Stijn Vriends, President and CEO of Vittoria, highlighted the importance of this innovation by pointing out that, although initially aimed at pioneering cyclists seeking competitive advantages in terms of performance, "it will soon become a common and widely adopted feature, as has happened before with other technologies that are now standard in modern cycling."

Except for the PRO Speed model, the other two models are already available for purchase and the recommended prices are:
