Van der Poel will debut new cycling shoes for the Paris-Roubaix 2024

The world champion jersey has not competed in Paris-Roubaix since Peter Sagan's victory in 2018, so Van der Poel will be the one to bring the rainbow back to the Hell of the North and he will also do it in his shoes. These are the Shimano RC903 personalized shoes he will compete with.

Shimano customizes Van der Poel's shoes for Paris-Roubaix 2024

The new Shimano RC903 shoes were first seen on Van der Poel's feet a couple of seasons ago and it is the model he has been competing with since then, including winning the last Road World Championship.

The RC903 is more ventilated and lighter than its previous version, and for this occasion Shimano has personalized it with a rainbow stripe that runs around the shoe's contour.

With a declared weight of 225 g in size 42, it is 10g lighter than the RC902. Its price is 370€, but this special version will not be for sale.
