UNNO confirms its leap into competitive XCO with an ambitious UNNO Factory Racing
The rumors have become reality. The Spanish brand UNNO has officially presented its Olympic cross-country (XCO) structure, confirming its entry into one of the most demanding and media-covered disciplines of competitive MTB. Following the previous announcement of its Gravity project, which took over from the Rogue team, UNNO Factory Racing now completes its sports commitment with a powerful XCO team designed for medium-term growth.
The UNNO Factory Racing XCO is now official
The new structure is based on the Italian team Polimedical, a formation that has achieved notable results in recent years in XCM and in 2025 in the XCO World Cup. However, the project has been profoundly renewed, both in focus and in roster, with a clear orientation towards the development of young international talents.
One of the standout names on the team is Sara Cortinovis, the reigning Italian U23 XCO champion, who will lead a large and very young lineup, made up of nine cyclists from different countries:
UNNO Factory Racing XCO Roster
- Edoardo Bonetto (Italy)
- Noëlle Buri (Switzerland)
- Sara Cortinovis (Italy)
- Thomas Harry Doye (Australia)
- Sivert Ekroll (Norway)
- Florent Gueuning (Belgium)
- Riki Kitabayashi (Japan)
- Leo Lounela (Sweden)
- Duván Nelson Peña Franco (Colombia)

Pending official confirmation from the team, all signs point to UNNO competing in XCO with the UNNO Horn, a bike radically oriented towards competition, with 110 mm of travel and a weight that would be below 10 kg (you can see it in detail here). It also seems clear that although the team is not one of the 20 World Series teams, several of its members will participate in various events of the XCO World Cup 2026, where the project will begin to measure itself against the more established structures in the paddock.

With this announcement, UNNO strengthens its presence in the elite of international MTB and makes it clear that its commitment goes beyond a mere testimonial entry.
