Unlimited ambition: Pogacar wants to win the Tour and World Championship again in 2025
Tadej Pogacar made public his racing schedule for the 2025 season in which the Tour de France and the World Championships once again take center stage, while highlighting the Slovenian's return to the cobblestone classics, races that he skipped this year in order to face the Giro-Tour double with full guarantees.
Tadej Pogacar presents his racing schedule that leaves in the air which will be the second grand tour in addition to the Tour
The first leading cyclist to reveal his calendar for 2025 has been Tadej Pogacar, who will face a program very similar to the one he carried out two years ago with his return to the cobblestone classics. However, these races are only the intermediate part of an intense first part of the season that will start with the UAE Tour on February 17. Sponsorships require it.

After this presentation, one of his favorite races will arrive, the Strade Bianche, on March 8 and, after that, one of the main objectives, a Milan-San Remo that will take place on March 22 and that continues to elude Tadej Pogacar. Almost without rest, a trip to Belgium to face the E3 Saxo Classic, followed by Gent-Wevelgem and the end of the cobblestone season with the Tour of Flanders.
Tadej Pogacar does not rule out competing in Paris-Roubaix, another of the great pieces missing from his collection, although, in principle, his participation seems unlikely, especially when his classics season will extend to the Ardennes where he will face the entire trio: Amstel Gold Race, Fleche Wallonne, and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. "Maybe I can do it, it's not a final decision but I don't think it's the best for me and there is still time to race it another year," he pointed out about his participation in the Hell of the North.
Only two more events appear on the racing calendar announced by Tadej Pogacar: the Tour de France and the World Championships, probably waiting to know the route of the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España before deciding which will be the second grand tour he will compete in 2025 if there is a second three-week race. However, considering the intense spring he has planned, his presence in the Giro d'Italia seems unlikely.
Tadej Pogacar did not hide his ambition to win Milan-San Remo "It is the least predictable race on the calendar and the one in which I want to improve every time. I am getting closer to the top spot and next year it will be one of the objectives. I really like this race, it is a very beautiful monument and how everything is concentrated in the final climbs.
In any case, Tadej Pogacar made it clear that his main goals will continue to be the Tour de France and the World Championships in Rwanda, races in which he is the current champion and will try to defend both titles.
