The Trek Procaliber Carbon 2025 arrives with the new IsoBow technology to bid farewell to IsoSpeed
The new Trek Procaliber Carbon 2025 is presented as a model that takes hardtail XC to the next level thanks to its new and exclusive IsoBow technology. And it is something that must be taken into account when this statement comes from the brand that invented short-travel full suspension bikes when the market trend was just the opposite.
Key features of the Trek Procaliber Carbon 2025
- Completely new carbon frame and 200g lighter than the previous generation
- IsoBow technology to absorb vibrations and obstacles
- New geometry
- More generous wheel clearance for tires up to 2.4"
- Increased fork travel: 120 mm
- Floating rear brake mount
- The lightest Trek Procaliber in the range weighs 10.58kg
New Trek Procaliber Carbon with IsoBow technology
Extremely light, comfortable, and capable. The latest version of the Procaliber Carbon replaces its rear IsoSpeed pivot with the new IsoBow technology, but its innovations go further and feature a 120mm fork, 29? wheels, and updated geometry for fast riding on any terrain.
As we have already seen in other models of the brand, such as the Madone road bike, Trek is offering structural solutions in its frames to function as a vibration and impact absorption system. Just like the new Isobow in this Procaliber Carbon.
RECOMENDADO
The IsoBow works by extending the seatstays in front of the seatpost to create a structure that allows flexing and dissipating vibrations caused by any obstacle and challenging trail sections. The IsoBow increases the rider's comfort, reduces weight from the assembly, and translates into energy savings.
The Procaliber Carbon introduces a new geometry for a new XCO. With the circuits of the discipline becoming increasingly demanding, bikes must evolve to not lose time in technical sections. In that sense, the Procaliber arrives ready to mount longer-travel forks, up to 120mm, capable of absorbing any obstacle or saving a bad landing. A more relaxed 67° head angle along with a longer reach offer great stability at high speeds, and a more vertical seat angle helps maintain a more centered attack position on climbs or pedaling sections.
Thanks to the new IsoBow system, which eliminates moving parts, a redesigned frame, and other details, such as the absence of handlebar lockout, Trek has managed to shave about 200g off the weight of the new frame compared to the previous generation.
