Tom Pidcock already has a CX calendar and it starts on Saturday
The current Olympic MTB champion has just made public his cyclocross calendar for the 2021-22 season. Britain's Tom Pidcock will start on Saturday, December 5 at the Boom Superprestige and confirms he will be at the US World Championships at the end of January, it will be his last race.
Tom Pidcock presents his CX calendar for 2021-22
A total of 12 races will be completed by the Ineos Grenadier rider during his cyclocross season, 6 of which will be World Cup races.
As in the case of Van der Poel, the Briton will start "late" compared to other World Cup competitors, so his position in the ranking is far behind and he will have to get as many points as possible in these 6 races to get as far ahead as possible in the Fayetteville World Championship, his big goal of the year.

After his first race in Boom, Belgium, Pidcock will travel to the Ineos Grenadier training camp in Mallorca before returning to competition in Val di Sole. And then it remains to be seen how the current restrictions in Belgium, which have already led to the suspension of the Antwerp World Cup, will develop and, if continued, could cause changes to the scheduled calendar.
