Tom Pidcock confirms that he will be at the European XCO Championship
Tom Pidcock has confirmed that he will still do at least one more mountain bike race this season and will be at the start of the next European XCO Championship, which will take place on July 27 in the Portuguese town of Melgaço. The British rider announced it in statements prior to the Andorra World Cup, where he later signed a spectacular victory with a comeback included, after starting from a very delayed position on the starting grid.

Pidcock will compete in the European XCO Championship 2025
Until a few weeks ago, Pidcock's mountain bike calendar seemed completely empty for this season. But after announcing his presence at the Andorra World Cup, which he won outstandingly, we now know that he will also be at the continental event before heading to the Vuelta a España, which will start on August 23 with his team Q36.5.

With two weeks to go before the race, the final list of entries has not yet been published, but everything points to it being one of the most competitive editions in recent years. By calendar, many of the big names in European MTB will be available to attend, including prominent figures from the World Cup circuit. In fact, Nino Schurter has also already confirmed his participation.
With the extra motivation after his exhibition in Pal Arinsal and his ambition intact despite having focused much of the year on the road, Pidcock will arrive in Melgaço as one of the top favorites.
