This rear light is also a mini electric pump
Flextail is a brand specialized in electronic accessories for outdoor activities that already had a couple of mini compressors for bicycles. Now, it raises the stakes by making one of these mini pumps much more versatile.

Flextail evolves its mini compressor to make it more versatile
Mini compressors for inflating bike tires are becoming quite popular accessories except for one aspect: carrying them in the back pocket of the jersey can be quite uncomfortable, especially with very tight garments that also take up space for carrying bars, gels, and other items.

Why have short gloves disappeared from mountain biking?
To solve this, Flextail, a brand specialized in electronic accessories that already had some interesting mini compressor models in its catalog, has now presented the Tiny Bike Bump ACS, a mini compressor that, in turn, is a powerful rear light so we can carry it fixed on the seat post with its specific support fulfilling a useful function. Without a doubt, an interesting two in one.

With a weight of only 120 g, it is capable of inflating a tire up to 120 PSI (8 bar) and the electrical charge provided by its battery is sufficient to inflate up to 3 tires. As a rear light, it has three operating modes, offering a maximum duration, in the so-called "Always active", of 9h, while in its most economical mode, "flash mode", the duration extends up to 13h.
A useful combination although it raises the problem of what would happen if we have been using the light for a long time and need to resort to the compressor, undoubtedly, the weak point of this idea in which both functions, light and inflator share the same power source.
In any case, Flextail develops its products using crowdfunding campaigns and this idea has just been presented. Now it will depend on the small investors of the brand whether this project ends up seeing the light as another product in the company's catalog.
