This new exoskeleton improves your endurance by 40% on the bike
Hypershell, a Chinese company based in Shanghai, has developed an exoskeleton, whose functions are managed by artificial intelligence that will allow cyclists to increase their capabilities. An invention designed for those who do not want to resort to electric bicycles but need that extra help to transport heavy loads or face especially tough routes.

The Hypershell X exoskeleton goes beyond electric bicycles
The concept of exoskeletons is not new. For years, they have been used in medicine seeking assistance in the rehabilitation of people with motor dysfunctions and other areas. However, the novelty is seeing it applied to the world of sports as proposed by Hypershell, who seek an alternative to electric bicycles.
The Hypershell X exoskeleton is not formed by a structure that anchors to the cyclist's legs and waist. Both areas are joined by a motorized joint powered by a rechargeable battery.

The Hypershell X has gyroscopes and accelerometers arranged throughout the structure that send information about the movement the person makes with their legs and, through artificial intelligence algorithms, determines how to activate the motors of each leg to assist in the movement. Additionally, thanks to the learning provided by AI, the system is able to learn the user's motor patterns to achieve increasingly smoother operation. According to the brand's data, it can provide 40% more force to the legs, reducing the necessary effort by up to 30%.
In addition to being geared towards cycling, the Hypershell X exoskeleton has several functions that allow you to benefit from the extra help not only when riding a bike but also when walking.

It is already available for sale on the Hypershell website in three versions ranging from the basic one, priced at €999, to the Carbon X, which has a much lighter structure and a price that goes up to €1,799.
