These SRM cranks allow you to change the length with interchangeable tips
After ceding hegemony as the main reference in power meters, SRM seeks to equip its renowned cranks with new options such as the possibility of modifying their length in order to attract the interest of those cyclists more concerned with finding maximum performance.

Easily experiment with different crank lengths thanks to SRM's new model
Mentioning SRM a few years ago was referring to the pioneers in bringing a commercial power meter to the market that was for all professionals and training and performance enthusiasts, it is the reference standard when determining the watts provided during pedaling. However, the lowering and democratization of power meters has left their elitist products somewhat aside.

That is why the brand is looking for other alternatives for those athletes and coaches concerned about every parameter that can affect performance. The latest of their proposals are the new Origin Aero cranks. Cranks that, of course, have the spider that provides the precise power measurement that SRM is accustomed to and which, thanks to a modular design, offers the option of quickly modifying their length.
The SRM Origin Aero cranks have interchangeable tips of different lengths, identified by a different color, which allow modifying their length between 160 and 175 mm with increments of 2.5 mm. This allows the cyclist to experiment with different lengths while also having the precise measurements of the SRM power meter to assess which one provides the best performance, all very simply.

Furthermore, the design of the SRM Origin Aero cranks has another important advantage, which is a tremendously reduced Q factor, barely 144 mm and narrower than any other crank on the market. However, as is customary with SRM, it is not a cheap product and its approximate price, depending on the chosen chainring and power meter spider options, exceeds €2,000.
