These are the most expensive and cheapest bicycles of the Tour de France 2026
Cycling remains one of the few sports where any fan can buy exactly the same bike used by the best riders in the world. And, as every year, the Tour de France once again becomes the best showcase to see how far performance… and prices go.
How much do the bikes of the Tour de France 2026 cost? From Pogacar's Colnago to the most affordable Cube in the peloton
Although the bikes of the professional peloton continue to be positioned in the most exclusive segment of the market, the trend observed in recent years remains. The arrival of new brands, the growing competition among manufacturers, and the commercial strategy of companies like Van Rysel, Canyon, or Cube have helped to keep prices of some of the most advanced WorldTour models in check.

That doesn't mean that the Tour bikes are exactly cheap. The price we provide here takes into account the setups of each team, and for the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2, SRAM Red AXS, or Campagnolo Super Record 13-speed groups, you must add the cost of high-end wheels and components. Something that keeps the average price of a peloton bike well above 10,000 euros. And that doesn't include time trial bikes, whose costs tend to skyrocket even more.

For the second consecutive year, the most expensive bike in the Tour de France is also that of the great favorite for the yellow jersey. The spectacular Colnago Y1Rs of Tadej Pogacar, designed specifically to maximize aerodynamic efficiency, tops the ranking with an approximate price of 16,900 euros in a configuration very close to that used by the world champion. The price is very high, but you have to consider some of the specific components used by the UAE Team Emirates-XRG, such as CeramicSpeed bearings or ultralight Carbon-Ti parts.

Very close behind is the Pinarello Dogma F that will be used by both Netcompany INEOS riders and Tom Pidcock and the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. The Italian superbike comes in just below the Colnago, with an approximate price of 16,800 euros in their respective setups.
The third step of the podium is occupied by the Bianchi Oltre RC of Bahrain Victorious. The aerodynamic bike from the Italian brand reaches 14,400 euros in its team replica version.
Trek, BMC, Cervélo, and Specialized complete the top tier
Next, we find the Trek Madone SLR used by Lidl-Trek, priced at 14,399 euros, followed by the BMC Teammachine R of Tudor Pro Cycling, which is around 14,000 euros.
In the next segment, both the Look 795 Blade RS of Cofidis and the Cervélo S5 of Visma-Lease a Bike are also around 14,000 euros.
Similarly, among the recently presented Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL9 used by Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe and Soudal Quick-Step. Both share practically the same setup, although with different groups according to the team, and are priced at around 13,999 euros.
Also above 13,000 euros is the Scott Foil RC of the NSN Cycling team, with an approximate price of 13,299 euros.

The most affordable bikes of the Tour
If a few years ago Canyon was the reference when it came to value for money within the WorldTour, now the competition is much greater.
The Canyon Aeroad CFR used by Movistar Team and Alpecin-Premier Tech has even reduced its price compared to previous generations and is around 9,000 euros.
Very close is the Van Rysel RCR-F Pro of Decathlon CMA CGM. The French bike has lowered its price to 8,499 euros and remains one of the most competitive options in the peloton when comparing performance and cost.

Also among the most affordable is the new MMR Aelion SL Team used by Caja Rural-Seguros RGA. The Asturian manufacturer continues to offer one of the most economical bikes present in the race, but even so, its price is above 8,000€.
The silver medal goes to the X-LAB AD9 of the XDS Astana Team. The bike from the Chinese brand, equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and Vision Metron wheels, is priced around 8,100 euros.
However, the cheapest bike of the Tour de France 2026 once again belongs to Cube. The Litening Aero C:68X used by TotalEnergies is priced at 7,299 euros, making it the most affordable option in the entire professional peloton.
