New Northwave Celsius XT Arctic GTX with Primaloft and Gore Tex
Northwave continues to push the limits of cycling gear for the most adverse conditions with the presentation of the Celsius XT Arctic GTX, their new flagship model for the winter 2025/26. Designed under the motto "prepared for the unexpected," they are intended for those who do not consider stopping cycling when the cold, rain, or snow appear.

The new model combines Northwave's off-road experience with their deep knowledge in winter footwear. Its low-cut design protects the foot without compromising ankle mobility, while a neoprene gaiter offers flexibility and maintains insulation against cold and moisture.
The new last increases internal volume to improve toe mobility, and a front zipper facilitates adjustment and protection against water and wind. In addition, reflective elements improve visibility in low light conditions, an essential detail for those who ride at dawn or dusk.
GORE-TEX and Primaloft: a unique combination
Northwave, a pioneer in cycling footwear with GORE-TEX membrane since 2005, now introduces the new GORE-TEX Cirrus XT 4L, free of PFAS and with an exceptional balance between thermal insulation, breathability, and weather resistance.
This is complemented by the Primaloft Gold Eco 200g insulation, made from recycled materials and located in the forefoot area. Thanks to its ultra-light microfibers, the foot remains dry and warm even in extreme conditions.
Jaws Evo sole: traction, flexibility, and efficiency
The Jaws Evo sole has been developed to offer the ideal balance between pedaling efficiency and walking comfort, a key advantage for those who combine cycling and walking sections.
The Flexi System provides a natural flex point to improve traction when walking, while the rubber lugs ensure grip and stability on any surface.
The X-Dial SLW3 closure allows for quick and precise adjustment: simply turn to tighten, use the lever for on-the-fly micro-adjustments, or lift it to release the cable completely.
Colors, sizes, and price
The Northwave Celsius XT Arctic GTX will be available in three colors (light gray, black, and fluorescent yellow) and in sizes ranging from 36 to 48, with half sizes from 39.5 to 45.5. Their recommended price is €269.99.
With the Celsius XT Arctic GTX, Northwave reaffirms its leadership in the development of technical winter footwear. A shoe ready for any terrain and any weather, because, as the Italian brand says, "with the right footwear, there is no bad weather for cycling."
