The XCO transfer market is moving in the middle of the season
The 2025 XCO World Cup season is on hold until the end of August, but that hasn't stopped significant movements in the transfer market. Between July 14 and 18, teams had a market window in which they could strengthen their squads for the second half of the calendar, with new signings that already accumulate UCI points and will provide immediate value in the team classification.
Teams shake up the market with new XCO signings
In the Cross-Country discipline, three cyclists who were competing as independents have been rewarded with contracts in official teams after shining in the first six rounds of the championship.
The South African Luke Moir, currently 22nd overall, has signed with Mondraker Factory Racing XC. His performance has been particularly solid, with four results within the top 20 and a notable fifth place in the second round held in Araxá (Brazil). Mondraker had already partially supported Moir during the first half of the year, and now formalizes his signing.
