After an initial protest signed by the entire grid and the subsequent interruption of Nino Schurter and Lars Forster on the main podium, the organization of the World Cup seems to have yielded to the bikers' request.

The organization has communicated this in a small informative section, from which it can be deduced that the podium of 5 will be back only for fans and press, it will not have the official status of the top three and will not be broadcast on TV:
