The stage 1 of the Andalucía Bike Race 2026 has been canceled due to force majeure
The organization of the Andalucía Bike Race 2026 has announced a substantial modification in the development of the event following the extreme weather episode that has affected Andalucía in recent days.
The organization of the ABR 2026 prioritizes safety and cancels the inaugural stage
After several days of technical analysis, coordination with administrations, and evaluation of routes and access, the organization has decided to cancel the first stage for strictly safety reasons. The competition will finally start on February 24 with the time trial in Granada, which will incorporate slight changes to its route to ensure the safety of riders, teams, and staff.

The organization emphasizes that the decision is not a response to a specific event, but rather the result of a prolonged and detailed evaluation process, with the primary objective of preserving the integrity of all involved.
