The spectacular Ghost Lector of the World Champion Eliminator
The Dutchman Jeroen van Eck was crowned Eliminator World Champion last July in the city of Aalen, Germany. And to commemorate his victory in the most explosive mountain bike discipline that exists, he has just unveiled this spectacular Ghost Lector UC World Cup 2025 customized bike.
Jeroen van Eck's Ghost Lector UC World Champion Edition
In the words of Jeroen van Eck himself, "XCE is fast, powerful, and truly spectacular. But that also makes it incredibly difficult to control. You only have 2 minutes to give it your all, with intense mental pressure and a huge buildup of lactate afterwards."
This discipline is so demanding in every way that Jeroen, a specialist who won his first European Eliminator Championship 9 years ago, had to step away from it for a year and a half to gain perspective and focus on competitive eMTB.
In 2024, he returned to the World Championship where he convincingly defeated the main favorite and defending champion, Frenchman Titouan Perrin-Ganier. This season, he has been riding and competing with a Ghost Lector UC 2025 that now sports the colors of the World Champion.
