The Dutchman Jeroen van Eck was crowned Eliminator World Champion last July in the city of Aalen, Germany. And to commemorate his victory in the most explosive mountain bike discipline that exists, he has just unveiled this spectacular Ghost Lector UC World Cup 2025 customized bike.

The Ghost Lector 2025 was presented just a few months ago and now sports rainbow colors for the Eliminator World Champion

In the words of Jeroen van Eck himself, "XCE is fast, powerful, and truly spectacular. But that also makes it incredibly difficult to control. You only have 2 minutes to give it your all, with intense mental pressure and a huge buildup of lactate afterwards."

This discipline is so demanding in every way that Jeroen, a specialist who won his first European Eliminator Championship 9 years ago, had to step away from it for a year and a half to gain perspective and focus on competitive eMTB.

Only 2 minutes per round where you can't waste any watt

In 2024, he returned to the World Championship where he convincingly defeated the main favorite and defending champion, Frenchman Titouan Perrin-Ganier. This season, he has been riding and competing with a Ghost Lector UC 2025 that now sports the colors of the World Champion.

The rear triangle looks more streamlined than ever in the 2025 version, which lightens the overall weight (24% less) but maintains its characteristic curvature in the seat stays and increases rigidity.

XLC bottle cage, Maxxis Aspen tires, and a detailed view of the new UC frame shapes (this designation indicates that it has been made with the brand's lightest and stiffest carbon)
The Bike Ahead Composites Biturbo RSX wheels add as much aggressiveness to the bike's aesthetics as rigidity and responsiveness to its handling
The World Cup model is the top of the line of the new Ghost Lector 2025. It is made with UC carbon fiber
