The S-Works Epic 9 of Sina Frei is dressed as the European champion for Les Gets

Sina Frei will arrive at the Les Gets World Cup with two European champion jerseys and, from now on, also with a matching bike to accompany them. Specialized Factory Racing has just unveiled the new custom S-Works Epic 9 with which the Swiss rider will compete for the first time this weekend.

The 2026 season is proving to be particularly bright for Sina Frei. The Specialized Factory Racing rider had already demonstrated her speed in Short Track with victories such as the one achieved at the XCC World Cup in Leogang, but at the beginning of August, she achieved one of her major goals of the year by becoming the European champion in both XCC and XCO.

The double victory came in Monteceneri, where Frei managed to win in both disciplines and finished the weekend by also claiming the European XCO title ahead of Alessandra Keller and Jenny Rissveds. Now Specialized has wanted to transfer those two titles to her bike.

The new S-Works Epic 9 maintains the setup that Frei has been competing with this season, but features a completely custom decoration inspired by the European champion jersey.

White and blue dominate almost the entire frame, both in the front triangle and in the rear triangle, while the golden star features of the European jersey appear on the seat tube. Specialized has thus brought the visual identity of the continental championship to the entire bike, rather than limiting it to small details or stickers.

Among the components, we also find some nods to this new aesthetic. The HT M2 pedals, for example, come finished in blue to integrate with the frame's decoration.

120 mm and Flight Attendant for one of the most exclusive S-Works Epic 9s

Beyond the paint, Frei maintains the configuration that Specialized Factory Racing is using this season and that she shares largely with her teammate Laura Stigger. In fact, we already analyzed in detail Stigger's S-Works Epic 9 after her victory in Nove Mesto.

The base is an S-Works Epic 9 FACT 12 Carbon frame with a RockShox SID Ultimate Flight Attendant fork in front and a SIDLuxe Flight Attendant shock in the rear.

The shock also features a Ride Dynamics tuning and uses the Magic Middle mode, an intermediate setting with which the Flight Attendant system can automatically manage the behavior of the suspensions according to the pedaling conditions and terrain.

For the handlebars, she opts for a handlebar and stem set instead of the integrated Roval Control system, while the wheels are lightweight Roval Control World Cup equipped with Specialized Air Trak tires.

Frei mounts the complete wireless SRAM Eagle Transmission accompanied by an integrated Quarq power meter, while braking is handled by SRAM Motive, with 180 mm discs both front and rear.

The setup is completed with a RockShox Reverb dropper post, a Specialized Power Evo 155 mm saddle, and the aforementioned HT M2 pedals, which stand out especially this time due to their blue finish.

Among the new details in her setup are the blue HT M2 pedals matching the set.
