The next Cervélo gravel racing bike has been caught, with which Marianne Vos is already winning
Small parenthesis in Marianne Vos' road season as she participated last weekend in the 3RIDES Gravel Races, a race in Germany belonging to the UCI Gravel World Series and she did it riding a completely new Cervélo.

Cervélo takes inspiration from its S5 to create the new Aspero with a pure focus on competition gravel
Marianne Vos debuted her rainbow jersey this season, recognizing her as the current Gravel World Champion. But it wasn't the only thing the Dutch cyclist debuted. Her bike also caught attention as what seems to be a new competition gravel bike in Cervélo's catalog.

A bike that is unknown if it will be marketed under the name Aspero, the current gravel model designation, and that has caught attention for its aerodynamic lines that clearly resemble those of its aerodynamic road sister, the Cervélo S5, especially in the area of the seat tube that covers the rear wheel. In the front, instead of the characteristic handlebar and fork of the road aero model, we find conventional ones although the importance of aerodynamics is also appreciated in this gravel model in the extended head tube or in the fork legs.
Also, the seatpost changes from the usual round one on the current Aspero to an aerodynamic D-shaped one. A new bike that adapts to the current trend of using wider tires, and while the current Aspero, a bike that has been on the market for a few years, only accepts tires up to 42 mm, Marianne Vos was seen using 50 mm tires for her participation in the 3RIDES Gravel Race.

Another visible change is the use of a UDH derailleur hanger that allowed Marianne Vos to use the specific SRAM gravel group, the Red AXS XPLR with 13 gears. A bike that, of course, was personalized by the brand with the rainbow colors that recognize the Dutch cyclist as the current World Champion in the discipline, which clearly indicates that we are not dealing with a prototype but with a pre-series that will surely be released very soon.
