The new Selle Italia SLR 2025 is approaching the limit
Selle Italia has officially presented the fourth generation of one of its most iconic saddle creations: the SLR range. A name that in just three letters encapsulates 25 years of history and references in professional and amateur cycling.
New Selle SLR 2025: evolution, not revolution
Giuseppe Bigolin, president of Selle Italia, defines it as: «An evolution, not a revolution». The new SLR range maintains the essence of always, but introduces key improvements resulting from biomechanical analysis and new manufacturing technologies.
The design continues to bet on clean lines and a minimalist profile in black, but adopts a reduced length of 242 mm (6 mm less than before), bringing it closer to the UCI regulatory limit. The rear padding area has also been trimmed, as it has been found to not contribute to the rider's real comfort.
