We were able to see the new Orbea Alma for the first time exactly a year ago in Andorra, back then it was a prototype, and just a few months later it was presented with its innovative X-Fader system. Now, the Orbea Alma 2025 is presented in an exclusive version for the current XCM World Champion.

The new Orbea Alma of the XCM World Champion

Orbea pays tribute to the XCM world champion with an exclusive Alma for Simon Andreassen

The Basque brand once again demonstrates its ability to create unique bicycles, but unlike other personalized models available through the MyO service, this Alma has been conceived as a unique piece, developed outside of the configurator and crafted by the design and assembly team at Orbea. A bike designed and manufactured exclusively for the Danish Simon Andreassen, the current Marathon MTB World Champion.

The latest version of this iconic model stands out for the new frame with X-Fader technology (a structural "micro-shock absorber"). A system that gives a unique aesthetic to the bike, but at the same time is completely functional and allows for more efficient pedaling, reducing fatigue and increasing control on demanding terrains. Here you can read our test.

In terms of aesthetics, the bike features an elegant white frame with golden particles as a tribute to the gold won by Andreassen in Snowshoe (USA), the venue of the last XCM World Championship. Additionally, the classic rainbow bars on the rear triangle, an unmistakable symbol of the world champion, are present. The Fox 34 SL fork hand-painted in white and gold also stands out.
