The new OQUO LTD arrive at the Tour de France
The Lotto Dstny team will compete in the 2025 Tour de France with the new generation of OQUO LTD wheels, culminating a year and a half collaboration that has involved the Belgian team in the development of these high-performance components. Designed and manufactured entirely in the Basque Country, the wheels incorporate the revolutionary Q10 hub and have been optimized in the wind tunnel to meet the demands of the French round.
Lotto Dstny and Oquo: joint development and cutting-edge technology
Over the past 18 months, Lotto cyclists and technicians have tested different prototypes of OQUO wheels in some of the most demanding races on the international calendar. Thanks to this direct collaboration process, the Basque brand has perfected its second generation of road wheels, which now arrive at the most prestigious stage of world cycling.
The Q10 hub, 100% manufactured in Euskadi, represents one of the most notable advances of the set. Its construction combines high-quality materials, precision machining, its own 45-tooth SHARKRATCHET system with only 8° engagement, and low-friction bearings. Weighing just 175 grams in the rear version and 104 grams in the front version, it is one of the lightest on the market. In addition, its design without threaded parts allows tool-free disassembly, thus facilitating maintenance.

The OQUO LTD wheels at the Tour de France
Lotto will use the four wheels of the LTD range, each adapted to the different characteristics of the route and the preferences of the riders:
- RA80 LTD: 80 mm profile and 23 mm internal width. Maximum aerodynamics for time trial stages.
- RA57 LTD: 57 mm profile and 23 mm internal width. Balance between weight and aerodynamics, ideal for mixed stages.
- RP50 LTD: 50 mm profile and 25 mm internal width. Versatile and stable for any type of terrain.
- RP35 LTD: 35 mm profile and 21 mm internal width. The lightest and stiffest, designed for high mountains.
All wheels have been developed with Mini Hook technology to improve compatibility between rim and tire, straight pull spokes, and optimized aerodynamics thanks to work in the wind tunnel.
