The MTB World Cup confirms that Morillon and Les Gets will be the venues for the double French event in 2026
The French region of Haute-Savoie will once again become one of the major epicenters of mountain biking worldwide in the summer of 2026. Warner Bros Discovery Sports, the Union Cycliste Internationale, and regional authorities have confirmed that Morillon and Les Gets will host the UCI MTB World Cup events on August 14 and 23.
Morillon and Les Gets will host the Haute-Savoie rounds of the UCI MTB World Cup (Enduro, XCO, and DH) 2026
The first weekend of competition in Haute-Savoie will take place from August 14 to 16 in Morillon, which will once again host a round of the Enduro World Cup after its debut in 2025. The Grand Massif locality was the venue for the season finale last year and will repeat as a decisive championship venue, with overall standings at stake in the Enduro Bike Park.

Les Gets, epicenter of XCO, XCC, and Downhill
Five days later, from August 21 to 23, the spotlight will shift to Les Gets, which will host the final European events of the Olympic Cross-country (XCO), Short Track (XCC), and Downhill (DHI) World Cup.

With uninterrupted presence in the calendar since the 90s, Les Gets is one of the historic venues for competitive mountain biking, with legendary names like Nicolas Vouilloz, Steve Peat, and Anne-Caroline Chausson linked to its downhill track. Since 2019, it has been a fixed date for endurance and gravity disciplines, and in 2025, it celebrated local victories by French riders in Enduro and Downhill.
The two consecutive events will turn Haute-Savoie into a meeting point for international mountain biking, with a broad parallel program that will include live music, entertainment areas, an expo area, and activities for fans in the event villages. In the previous edition, the events held in the region surpassed 100,000 spectators across all disciplines, a figure that the organization hopes to match or even exceed in 2026.
Path to the Super World Championship 2027
The celebration of this double event will also serve as a preview of the region's great goal: to host the UCI Cycling World Super Championship 2027, which will bring together multiple cycling disciplines in one territory, following the format debuted in Glasgow in 2023. Haute-Savoie thus reinforces its commitment to sport as a driver of international promotion and enhancement of its natural surroundings in the heart of the Alps.
