After a couple of years without it, the most followed inside look at cycling returns. The Least Expected Day, which shows us the behind-the-scenes of the Movistar team, has left us with some really interesting moments during the 4 seasons aired. A fifth season that covers the 2025 season and will start airing on the Movistar+ platform on January 19.

The backstage of the Movistar team revealed in the fifth season of The Least Expected Day
It seemed that the production of The Least Expected Day had been forgotten after two years without airing due to the team's reluctance to have cameras constantly on them, which, in the four seasons aired, have captured some moments that the team surely would not have wanted to come to light.

Previous seasons have left us with some memorable moments, such as the intestinal problems suffered by Annemiek van Vleuten during the Tour de France, which nearly derailed her race, the tensions with Miguel Ángel López that culminated in that memorable "Here I stay, gentlemen", or the endearing Chente García Acosta with his "I curse it" and his peculiar way of motivating his cyclists.
This fifth season comes after a year that has not been easy for the Movistar Team, in which Enric Mas has been practically unheard of, having to end his participation in the Tour de France prematurely due to a serious health issue when he was diagnosed with thrombophlebitis in his left leg.

But there have also been great moments from young cyclists on the team, such as Javi Romo's victory in one of the stages of the Tour Down Under, which brought him very close to winning the overall, or the fantastic stage victory that Iván Romeo achieved in front of all the leaders in the third stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné.
All this and surely many more stories about how a cycling team works from the inside starting January 19 on the Movistar+ platform.
