The most iconic pedals in MTB (and Gravel) are renewed, this is the Shimano XTR PD-M9200
After the recent presentation of the XTR M9200 Di2 electronic and wireless group, Shimano has also expanded its range of components, including the new XTR PD-M9200 pedals. Specifically designed for XCO and competition gravel, these pedals have been developed with the aim of maximizing efficiency, stability, and durability in extreme conditions.
Shimano launches the new XTR PD-M9200 pedals for MTB cross-country and competition gravel
XTR pedals are favorites among many cyclists, and the new PD-M9200 model maintains the reliability of the double-sided SPD system while incorporating key improvements that enhance its performance in competition. Its low-profile platform allows for greater stability while pedaling, and the wide placement of bearings optimizes power transfer. Additionally, the streamlined axle design and open cleat mechanism promote mud evacuation and quick entry/exit even on the most challenging terrains.
Made with chromoly steel axle and sealed cone and cup bearings, the new PD-M9200 pedals ensure a long lifespan with minimal maintenance. They are available in two versions: standard axle or short axle (3 mm less), allowing for better adaptation for road cyclists transitioning to gravel without compromising the Q-Factor.
