The launch of the first Orbea DH bike seems imminent
The first downhill mountain bike to arrive in the Orbea catalog could be just around the corner. Months ago we saw how the brand, along with its rider Martin Maes, began testing a non-motorized, non-battery Orbea Wild at the DH World Cup, and that could have been the basis of what is about to come.

The first Orbea DH is ready to debut in the World Cup
Just look at the timeline to realize what is going to happen: last year Orbea still did not have any DH mountain bike in its catalog, but they started testing with Martin Maes, and under his OOLab project, a customized Orbea Wild to compete in some DH World Cup races. Earlier this year, the creation of the new team Orbea FMD Racing - The Gravity Cooperative was announced with which they will compete this season in the DH World Cup. And now, a few weeks before the start of the DH World Cup, the team's social media is full of posts with a new completely covered bike model.

The most revealing images come from a team concentration in Lousã (Portugal) where they can be seen training, even Tahnee Seagrave has won a local race, with a new model completely covered under the Oolab logo.

We can't reveal much about the bike, except that it is a long-travel mountain bike and it seems that the rear pivot coincides with the wheel axle and that the rear shock is located in a very low position.
Its presentation could be immediate and Orbea has already set up a website for those who want to be notified of its launch.
