The founders of Rotor launch QO, a new premium components brand that is presented with 3 exclusive sets of cranksets
Last weekend Velofollies was celebrated, the first major event of the year for the cycling industry, and there QO was presented. A new premium brand of bike components founded by Pablo Carrasco and Ignacio Estellés, the same visionaries behind Rotor. In their catalog they already have 3 sets of cranks, for road, MTB, and Gravel, high-tech carbon fiber manufactured and they promise that this is just the beginning.

QO Bikes presents with 3 sets of cranks and cutting-edge technology
Carrasco and Estellés founded Rotor in 1996 and introduced revolutionary technologies such as oval chainrings or power meter cranks, now they combine their experience with a new approach so that QO becomes a reference in cutting-edge cycling components.

The first range of QO includes three sets of carbon cranks designed specifically for each discipline and manufactured with Mitsubishi Pyrofil carbon fiber, ensuring lightness, stiffness, and vibration absorption.

Why short cranks are trending?
The QO Race are aerodynamic cranks with Aero Dimples technology for road cycling. The QO Rocks are ultra-resistant cranks for MTB that include a special KevTex shield with Kevlar at the ends. And the QO Grava for gravel integrate both technologies combining aerodynamics and resistance.
Thanks to their modular design, these cranks incorporate a direct mount system compatible with DUB axles and plates of different sizes.
Specifications, weights, price, and availability
The QO Race road cranks are available with plates 50/34T, 52/36T, and 54/40T. Their declared weight is 634 g for the 170 mm version with 50/34T and will have a price of 750 € (plates included)

The QO Grava model for gravel will be available in a single plate version of 40, 42, or 44T and has a declared weight of 478 g (in 170 mm, 40T). Its price is 700 €

QO plans to launch their cranks in March 2025, with an initial distribution in Europe, including Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and other countries, as well as in Asia (China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand).
