The exclusive Pinarello Dogma F that INEOS showcased at the Giro
The stage held last Saturday in the Giro d'Italia was very special for Pinarello, one of the most iconic brands in the world. First, because of the start of that day in Treviso, the city where the headquarters of the company is located, but also because it was the date on which the 50th anniversary of Pinarello's first victory in a grand tour was celebrated. An event that, obviously, had to be celebrated in a big way as they know best, with a very special bike.

Limited edition of the Pinarello Dogma F to celebrate the brand's first victory in a grand tour
Fifty years ago in the month of May, Italian Fausto Bertoglio managed to win the 1975 Giro d'Italia riding a steel bike painted blue with the Pinarello logo on its down tube. A milestone that the legendary Italian brand could not overlook and celebrated at the start of stage 14 of the Giro d'Italia next to its headquarters in Treviso.
Following the trend of many brands preparing special editions for this type of events, the cyclists of INEOS Grenadiers used a bike with a specially designed blue decoration for the occasion, seeking maximum similarity with the machine used by Fausto Bertoglio.

Aside from the Gloss Midnight Blue and Borealis Luxter Venice color scheme, according to the designation used in the color palette that Pinarello uses in its creations and chosen for this bike, this special edition of the Pinarello Dogma F features a logo on its top tube that commemorates these 50 years of victories in which the Italian brand has achieved the spectacular figure of 30 wins between the Giro, Tour, and Vuelta.
Pinarello also takes the opportunity to pay tribute to its origins with a logo on its fork: GPT, which has nothing to do with artificial intelligence but is an acronym for Giovanni Pinarello Treviso, the name of the founder of the brand and the city where it has always been based.

A bike that Pinarello has put on sale in a limited way not in units but in time. To get one, you have to place an order with your nearest distributor between May 24 and June 15, available in both frame kit or complete bike versions like the one used by the cyclists of INEOS Grenadiers, including the Princeton Wake wheels decorated to match the rest of the bike.
