The exclusive Colnago C68 Rossa pays tribute to La Vuelta
Colnago launches a limited edition of its C68 called Rossa as a tribute to La Vuelta a España 2025 which starts next Saturday and will have the Italian city of Turin as its starting point. A bike that joins its previous creations Gioiello and Fleur-de-Lys with which Colnago paid tribute to the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France respectively.
Colnago completes its trio of bikes paying homage to the grand tours with the new C68 Rossa
With the figure of the bull as a symbol of unity between the city of Turin and Spanish culture, Colnago has created the limited edition of its C68 under the name Rossa, a bike in which deep black color combines with red that alludes to the passion and heat of Spain. A red color, Candy Red in Colnago's denomination, on which a finish called silver leaf is applied, very popular in the brand's bikes in the 80s that provides unique metallic tones.

How to change the pedals of any bike
A bike that, like all C68s, is completely handcrafted at its headquarters in Cambiago through a modular design that allows combining tubes and their famous junctions to create a completely customized bike if the customer desires. A bike in which Colnago seeks excellence in each unit it manufactures. Proof of this is that each one requires 50 hours of craftsmanship.
The nods to La Vuelta a España 2025 do not end there. The curious 3D printed bottle cage tries to approximate the design of the trophy received by the winner of the Spanish tour, while the rhomboidal design that covers its Prologo saddle alludes to the floor of the Galleria Grande of Reggia di Venaria, near Turin, a design that is also repeated in the handlebar tape of the Italian manufacturer.
We also find the logo of La Vuelta on the fork legs or on the special edition of the oversized Ceramic Speed OSPW derailleur pulleys.
Only 90 units of this Colnago C68 Rossa will be produced, a number that refers to the 90th edition of La Vuelta a España being held in 2025, all of them numbered of course. By the way, number 1 will be worn by Joao Almeida during the team presentation that will take place on Thursday, December 21, and will be auctioned next December through the well-known auction house Sotheby's.
A Colnago C68 Rossa that, as it could not be otherwise, has a luxury assembly which, combined with its exclusivity, places its price at a prohibitive 22,000 euros.
