Presenting the Decathlon Ford Racing Team for 2025
With the latest addition of German cyclist David List, the Decathlon Ford Racing Team for 2025 is ready to start a new season with representatives from France, the United States, Italy, and New Zealand.
Just a few days ago, the official presentation took place in Girona, and Samuel Rocès, the team's general manager, introduced the roster.
Savilia Blunk: "When she joined our team at the beginning of the 2023 season, she was ranked 41st in the UCI rankings. Today, she is among the best athletes in the world and competed in the Paris Olympics. Savilia had many offers, but chose to continue with us, and I couldn't be happier about it. She is still young (25 years old), and we have many great goals to achieve together. With 7 podiums in the World Cup so far, she can aim even higher."

Joshua Dubau: "He was one of the first cyclists to put his trust in us back in 2022. Last year, he even extended his contract until 2026. By securing the first podium in the World Cup for our team (2nd in Nove Mesto in 2023), he has cemented his place in our history. Joshua had a mixed 2024 season, including a serious injury during the World Cup in Araxá, Brazil, which kept him out of competition for several months. Now, back at the front of the pack, I am sure he is determined to fight for top positions from the start of the season."
David List: "David had an impressive season in the World Cup, showing great consistency in the most important races on the calendar. He was very interested in joining us, and we quickly agreed on a shared vision. He is still young, and I am convinced he has significant potential to grow. We will do everything we can to support him and help him take the next steps. I am grateful for his trust and confident that we can achieve great things together."
Samara Maxwell: "For Samara, the 2024 season, her first in the elite category, was a year of learning at the highest level. She achieved her first top ten in the World Cup, finished eighth in her Olympic debut, and as the champion of Oceania and New Zealand, she is closing the gap with the best. The 2025 season should confirm her continued rise to the highest level."
Greta Seiwald: "When Greta joined us in 2023, it was her first experience abroad. She had to adapt to many new things: a new environment, a new bike, and even a new coach. In 2024, she proved that all these changes were worth it, especially when she finished in the global top 10 in the World Cup stage in Nove Mesto. She is also a key pillar of stability within the team."
For 2025, the team is debuting new gear signed by TACTIC, which is already available for sale on the Decathlon website, but the debuts don't end there.
The team has new partners for this season, including SRAM and Rock Shox, and the new Rockrider RACE 940 S Pro Team from the Decathlon Ford Racing Team for 2025 comes equipped with the complete SRAM Eagle AXS group and the Flight Attendant electronic suspension system.
The team will debut in competition on February 2nd at the Sant Fruitos de Bages event of the International Catalan BTT Cup and will have an intense start to the season until the start of the XCO World Cup in Brazil on April 3rd.
