The black tires will be old and slow, according to Vittoria
The renewed range of gravel tires that Vittoria recently presented does not go unnoticed. These tires, in addition to expanding tread options to cover all terrains, catch the eye with the striking cream color of their compound, an option that, according to the Italians, due to its characteristics, will become more popular in the not-so-distant future, making traditional black tires seem outdated.

Vittoria bets on sustainability in its new range of gravel tires
The renewal of Vittoria's gravel tire range has culminated in the launch of the top-of-the-line Terreno Pro versions, available in T10 tread, a pure competition semi-slick; T30, for hard terrain but with that slight layer of gravel that complicates cornering; T50, a uniform knobby tire primarily for dry use but that does not lose performance when the terrain becomes softer; and T60, for similar use but when soft terrain or even mud predominates.
These Vittoria Terreno Pro tires are designed for maximum performance, and in fact, they have been tested by Tom Pidcock in the latest part of his 2025 season, where he participated in events like the Gravel World Championship and the Gravel Burn, and they undoubtedly promise to elevate the performance of tires in this specialty to a new level.

The secret to the performance of these new Terreno Pro tires, as one might expect, lies behind that peculiar cream color of their tread, which gives a striking and characteristic appearance to this new range of tires. Vittoria has sought sustainability in these tires, using 92% renewable and recycled materials.
The construction of the Vittoria Terreno Pro tires begins with the already common cotton casings in the Italian range, which, thanks to their great flexibility, provide better adaptation of the tire to the terrain, as they have been demonstrating for years in their road tires. A casing that is reinforced with nylon, a material also used to make the puncture-resistant layer, which is sourced from recycled fishing nets. According to Vittoria's data, this nylon improves puncture resistance by 18%.

Regarding the tread, it uses natural rubber sourced from certified fair trade sources. For its formulation, it is combined with soybean oil and silica derived from rice husk ash. These natural compounds, as Vittoria warns, may cause the appearance to vary from one tire to another but not their properties.
This production process, along with Vittoria's factory, certified as carbon neutral, achieves a 35% reduction in carbon footprint, with a production of just 3 kg of CO2 per tire.

In addition to being available in the tread patterns mentioned earlier, the new Vittoria Terreno Pro tires can be mounted in 3 sizes: 700x35c, 700x40c, and 700x45c, all priced at €88.95.
