A very demanding weekend for the BH Coloma Team
The fifth round of the UCI MTB World Series left us with a race marked by heat, dust, and a very technical course, both uphill and downhill. For the Coloma Team on Friday, in the XCC, Catalina Vidaurre achieved 25th position, followed by Ulan Galinski in 26th place, while Chiara Teocchi finished 30th and Jofre Cullell was 35th.

From the team, they explain that the inherent difficulty of the course increased during Sunday’s events. The extremely dry terrain raised a large amount of dust during the XCO races, reducing visibility for the riders in various areas of the circuit.
In the men's Sub23 race, Hugo Franco was affected by a fall caused by another rider during the early stages of the race. The incident caused him to lose numerous positions, but he managed to recover during the rest of the race to finish in 25th place.

Jofre Cullell was the best representative of the team in the elite races, finishing 22nd. Meanwhile, Ulan Galinski crossed the finish line in 31st position.
In the women's race, in addition to the terrible accident of Teocchi, Catalina Vidaurre also suffered a fall that affected her performance. The impact caused her a shoulder dislocation that had to be reset before she could continue in the race. Despite the time lost due to the incident, the Chilean managed to reach the finish line in 34th position.
After the complicated Italian event, the BH Coloma Team will face a new World Cup event this week. The championship will move to Pal Arinsal, in Andorra, where the competition will take place from July 9 to 12.
It will be one of the closest events for the Spanish team, and the team hopes to have significant support from fans traveling to Andorra.
