Switzerland does not fail at home and wins the Team Relay European Championship 2026
The relay event followed the usual dynamic with teams made up of six riders from different categories, including one male elite, one female elite, one male under-23, one female under-23, one male junior, and one female junior. And once again, the absence of major favorites and regulars from the World Cup was noticeable.

The first relay was led by the male under-23 riders, and it was the Swiss Nicolas Halter who set the best time for the initial lap, placing Switzerland at the top of the standings from the start. From there, the host team maintained the lead for the rest of the competition.
