Switch from mechanical (compatible) to electronic shifting with the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit
SRAM has just launched its new GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit, a solution designed especially to facilitate the transition from mechanical Eagle 90 or Eagle 70 transmissions to the wireless AXS ecosystem.
SRAM presents the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit to switch compatible mechanical groups to electronic
A few weeks ago, SRAM introduced its new Eagle 90 and 70 transmissions that brought all the advantages of direct mount to mechanical groups. But now it continues to expand its ecosystem and introduces a kit that will allow changing those groups to electronic.
This new kit allows you to easily upgrade any compatible mechanical Eagle transmission to a completely wireless one without having to change complete components.
The operation only requires removing the threaded pulley cage and the mounting screw from a mechanical Eagle 90 or Eagle 70 derailleur and reusing them on the new GX Eagle AXS Transmission derailleur body. Thanks to the included Eagle T-Type PowerLock closure, chain assembly is done securely and efficiently.
