Strava will not allow logging in with Facebook in a few weeks
Many users have received a notice in recent days, when accessing Strava, indicating that starting from March 16, they will no longer be able to use their Facebook credentials to access the application. Strava has not commented on the reasons for this change.

Strava removes support for validation using Facebook credentials
Facebook seems to have fallen out of favor. A social network that has been losing relevance in recent times, especially now that several companies are moving away from integration with this platform. The latest to do so is the popular cycling social network Strava, which has been notifying users who use Facebook credentials to log in that this option will no longer be available starting March 16.
Strava has not issued any statement to justify this decision. In any case, many companies are eliminating this option. From the computer company Dell, one of those that did this a few years ago, they explain that more and more users are avoiding using social media credentials to log in to various places for privacy reasons due to the data that Facebook might have access to.

Strava users who use this form of validation and have received the notice have several weeks to change the way they access Strava. To do this, they simply need to choose email validation, enter their email address on the login screen, the password they used the first time, and then they will receive a one-time code in their email to access the application as a two-step validation system.
Obviously, it is common to forget this password, but fortunately, it can be recovered using the usual "I forgot my password" button. In the case that the user no longer has access to that email address, Strava's Support service will be available to provide a solution to users who have access issues.

Another option to continue enjoying Strava, if a Gmail account is associated with the application, is to use the integration with Google, which is still maintained.
In any case, to reassure users, Strava has informed that the only data the application has used from Facebook profiles are name, date of birth, email address, gender, and profile picture, parameters that, after changing the validation method, the user can modify directly on their Strava profile page.
