Specialized signs the new kit for Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe
The whirlwind of presentations of the new colors of the different teams continues in coincidence with their first preseason concentrations and, contrary to what was customary in cycling, without the need to wait until January 1st. The latest to show their updated colors is Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe.
Specialized will equip Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe from top to bottom
We often forget that Specialized is much more than a bike brand, but in their catalog we find absolutely everything that a cyclist and their bike may need, and, unlike what usually happens with other bike brands, whose ranges of accessories and equipment are little more than a mere accompaniment, in the case of the Californian firm they have products of the highest quality that can rival without any embarrassment with those manufactured by specialized brands in those products.
We mentioned that they already used the S-Works Tarmac, equipped with Roval wheels and tires and components also from the brand. Their cyclists protected their heads with Specialized helmets and wore their exquisite road shoes. Now, the Morgan Hill firm closes the circle by also supplying the team with their clothing.

Specialized thus displaces a clothing brand as classic and of such high level as Sportful, which until a few months ago was in charge of supplying top-notch garments as the Italian firm usually does.
The new outfits come with a change in look compared to what Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe debuted at the 2024 Tour de France, when Red Bull joined the sponsorship.
A design in which the upper part of the jersey, the back, and all the sleeves have been modified to be white, seeking greater comfort on hot days, while the lower part of the jersey remains almost unchanged, displaying the Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe logos on a navy blue background. The sleeve cuffs have a red band displaying the Mewa brand, a new and curious sponsor that sells absorbent cloths and mats for use in the workplace.
As we mentioned before, having Specialized clothing does not mean a decrease in quality compared to a brand as high-level as Sportful, as Specialized pays the same attention to performance in their garments as in their bikes, using kinetic panels, making ultralightweight garments, and using aerodynamic fabrics that, following the brand's philosophy "Aero is everything," have been tested in the wind tunnel that the brand has at its headquarters in Morgan Hill.
