The Ghost Factory Racing has presented the special editions of the Lector and Lector FS with which their riders will compete in the Olympic Games. The German team has qualified the Danish Caroline Bohé and the Dutch Anne Terpstra. The choice of one model or another will depend on what each cyclist decides according to their preferences.

Ghost Lector and Lector FS: in detail the special editions of Paris 2024

The arrival of the Olympic Games is getting closer and teams are eager to reveal the exclusive designs with which they will equip their riders in the most important race on the planet. If a few days ago it was the turn of the Rockrider 940s and of the Cannondale Scalpel LAB71, now Ghost is taking the lead to present the spectacular Lector and Lector FS of the two representatives of the team who will attend the Olympic event.

Caroline Bohé and Anne Terpstra are the cyclists from the team who will be present on July 28th at the start of Paris 2024. The Danish Bohé will team up with her compatriot Sofie Heby Pedersen after the twelfth place she achieved in Tokyo; while Terpstra will wear the Dutch orange alongside Puck Pieterse in her third Olympic participation, after the fifteenth place in Rio and the fifth in Tokyo.

Ghost has decided to make both the rigid and the dual versions available to the riders. The circuit, despite offering some technical areas like rock gardens or jumps, could make some participants opt for the rigid models. Either way, in both cases the team has opted for a blue combination -at the front- and black -at the back- with white details.

In addition, at the end of the seat stays and chainstays you can see the colors of the flag of each of the riders' countries.

The six spoke wheels are perhaps the most special distinctive feature of the Lector. These spectacular Biturbo RSX rims -with a 33 mm inner width- are the work of Bike Ahead Composites and are fitted with Maxxis Aspen tires.

The spoke wheels, an essential part of the Lector and Lector FS, are made of monocoque carbon and weigh 1,329 grams

The integrated handlebar and stem The Unit ICR is also provided by Bike Ahead Composites and weighs 199 grams

The models are personalized with the name of the riders; in this case, it is Anne Terpstra's machine

Ghost has included the acclaimed Rockshox Flight Attendant XC electronic suspension, recently improved thanks to a new algorithm that accumulates more information and allows for instant optimization of the suspension to increase its performance.

The Rock Shox SIDLuxe Ultimate 3P shock absorber, with Flight Attendant XC technology and the ultralight Crankbrothers Eggbeater 11 pedals

SRAM is also responsible for providing the seatpost, brakes, and transmission.

Ghost has chosen the SRAM Level Stealth brakes

The Lector and Lector FS feature a SRAM Eagle XX SL drivetrain

The grips are also personalized with the name of the riders
