Special edition S-Works Tarmac SL8 Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe for sale
The new colors of Bora-Hansgrohe become official with the arrival of Red Bull as the sponsor of Ralph Denk's team, and, as expected, Specialized has prepared a design for their S-Works Tarmac SL8 bikes to showcase the colors of the energy drink company. These bikes will be seen in action starting on Saturday, June 29th at the 2024 Tour de France.

The arrival of Red Bull in road cycling goes beyond occasional sponsorships for specific cyclists with the renaming of Bora-Hansgrohe to Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe. This change, along with the acquisition by the Austrian energy drink company, solidifies the team as one of the most powerful in the peloton.

To celebrate Red Bull's sponsorship, Specialized has prepared a specific decoration for their S-Works Tarmac SL8, which the German team cyclists will wear for the first time at the upcoming Tour de France 2024.
Tom Brigs, design chief at Specialized, is responsible for this decoration and explains the Sticker Splat concept: "The design was inspired by youth culture and the skate aesthetic of the 90s. The grouping of logos on boards and other objects in sticker form showed authenticity and connection to something countercultural."
This design is reflected in the presence of a white background on which, as a kind of watermark, the different sponsors of the team are grouped in a somewhat chaotic manner, resembling the accumulation of stickers that Tom Brigs refers to. Only the Red Bull logos on the sides of the head tube add a touch of color to this frame.
Specialized has put this bike up for sale as a limited edition of 500 units, equipped with the new Roval Rapide CLX II Team carbon wheels, lighter and with a differentiated profile of 51mm for the front and 60mm for the rear, as well as the SRAM Red AXS groupset. Also noteworthy in this limited edition is the inclusion of a Hammerhead Karoo cycling computer mounted on the specific support that K-Edge has created for the integrated Roval handlebar.
